Why Our Situation is Hopeless, Yet Hilarious!

This momentous seminar is a powerful sacred ritual. It begins with a deep exploration of how and why human civilization is now being destroyed. We learn that the world’s wounds start from within our own divided consciousness. We are then introduced to a new understanding of our suffering, based on a profound concept called the Attis Complex, based on the ancient myth of Attis and Cybele.

Our rite of passage, guided by Shunyamurti, then helps us undo our unfortunate collective repression of death, which is behind the return of the repressed as a global death drive. The journey takes us to an extraordinary interpretation of the famous Cheshire Cat, which explains why we are so embedded in delusion and think it is normal. There is no greater gift than receiving a God’s-eye-view of this dying dream field—even though the full Presence of God is intolerable to the ego, which would instantly dissolve if it starts to resonate with that supreme vibrational frequency.

In Act Two of the retreat, we learn The Art of the Ordeal. We must come to terms with the suffering that has become an inevitable part of life, and more importantly, we learn how to overcome it. Here it is the Osiris Complex that comes to our aid. The journey then takes us into the heart of quantum physics, and the rude awakening that science has brought to us: that the world is unreal. Not only is matter a fictional category, but both space and time are illusory. The spiritual significance of all this is immense. The teaching concludes with a convergence of science with postmodern philosophy, ancient tribal wisdom, and the Eastern teachings of nonduality.

In the final act of our sacred gathering, we learn how to leapfrog all our existential ordeals, and immediately transport our souls into the blissful light of eternal Presence. This can be achieved through reason alone, if our minds are coherent enough, but our chances greatly improve if our hearts are open and there is love for the Infinite Intelligence from Whom we derive our Being.
