The Universe is Only Your Projection

The ego projects and is itself a projection of a fictional character in a cosmic Theodrama. The soul as actor must awaken to the Word of the Director in order to play accurately its role as metaphor of the Real.

The ego fabricates an imaginary world of good guys and bad guys, a paranoid narrative that can only perceive its own fear-based projections. But at a higher level of consciousness, beyond the subject-object dualistic frame of reference, once one is free of identification with thoughts and emotions, the true nature of reality reveals itself—accompanied by joy, love, and luminous clarity.

If the world is a simulation, then, am I real or just a program? Could I be the programmer, but have become so engrossed in my creation, that I have forgotten I am not actually a character on the playing field? And can I really ever know the answer for sure? Some philosophically tantalizing questions are explored here.

The ego’s event horizon is composed of its own projections. To go beyond the boundary of illusion, the will to truth must be activated.

If all concepts are false, then what is the value of the concept that there is an urgency to awaken? The answer, of course, is that if you do not know it is false, then the belief that you are really in the burning-man phase of the end of Kali Yuga may produce some discomfort. The good news is that you are not a person in a world—that too is a false concept—but it is still compassionate to explain that to those who are still convinced of the delusion.
